Transfer to Non Disney Hotel

Considering staying off site in April as there are no real benefits staying on site with all the changes.

My question is, we have a cruise booked and I am currently on a return transfer to Port Orleans but if I change to a Lake Buena Vista hotel can I still use the cruise transfer to a point where I can get a taxi?

You can use a private transfer company but not DCL for the transfer from Lake Beuna Vista. Another option however would be to go via MCO as they have transfers direct to the cruise. This can be more useful especially if your hotel does free transfers to the airport. Its more hassle but if you are ending up at the airport after the cruise anyway its an option.
Also Disney do one way transfers so its possible to keep one way and then do a private option the other.

Why not just cancel the transport and then just book a private transfer. It may work out more cost effective if theres a few of you. Otherwise you still have the cost from PO to your new hotel both ways.
