ESTA - Do you admit an arrest?

Keeping with my theme about honesty, if you were arrested would you put it on your ETSA.

Let's say I was walking down the Road and the police arrested me because I fitted the description of a man who just committed a robbery nearby, but shortly after my arrest the police realised it wasn't me who committed the robbery and I was de arrested (it wasn't a cashpoint incident).

In that scenario I wouldn't enter it on my ETSA because of the potential hassle it would cause me and I am 100% innocent, so am I being dishonest not to mention it on the ETSA, or would you mention it on your ETSA if you were in that very situation?

Did you fit the description of someone who took £100 from a cash point? '

Nope I wouldn’t

As soon as you tick yes to any boxes on the ESTA application it will be denied

Also not all crimes would need declaring anyway

Come on guys be brave would you admit to it on your ETSA or would you not mention it like I wouldn't (it's not cashpoint related).

Thanks for your honesty. I thought you had to say if you've been arrested (bearing in mind the arrest was for robbery)?

Question...

Have you ever been arrested or convicted for a crime that resulted in serious damage to property, or serious harm to another person or government authority?

No it was mistaken identity.
