That’s disgusting.
What about dogs that catch rabbits and squirrels ?
The difference is we are more responsible for our dogs, so less likely to be catching and killing things.
Outdoor cats are independent of us and I guess go hunting.
We can control what dogs do, but not cats if that makes sense?

I don’t agree with the poster though - but as I said, if I had a cat, it would have to be a house cat.

Dogs have natural instincts too,
It’s not always down to the owners.
Animals do what animals do , that’s nature .
I just honestly can’t believe anyone would post something like that on here .

I make no apologies for posting a strong view. In some parts of the world, including Australia and some states of the USA, culling of cats is encouraged.
Stories like this are not unusual.

bbc/news/science-environment-21236690

I also mean feral cats by and large.
Cats are responsible for killing MILLIONS of birds in this country alone, I don’t think the same can be said for animals killed by dogs.

I’m not surprised in the least that you won’t apologise.
You posted your foul views on a thread someone made about how much they prefer animals over people and you see it as a chance to spout how you’d like them culled .
Could you imagine if someone posted about how all dogs should be culled as they kill livestock and even children ?
No , because no one would ever say it no matter how much they dislike dogs .
And this is why so many like animals more than people ...

We have lots of cats around here and there's certainly no shortage of birds. It's like a scene from Cats at night out the front, always makes me laugh on the rare occasion I walk home.

I love cows, pigs and chickens. It's a shame most people see them only as food

I would never call your views “foul” because I believe in free speech.
If someone posted something such as you suggest, I would feel the need to respond without being personal.
It would also be unlikely as the numbers we are talking about are minuscule in comparison to death by cat

People kill more birds than cats.
