Yosemite and back from LA area
Hi,
Is it worth visiting Yosemite from the LA area during a 2 week stay and if so how many nights would you do? Will have 2 little ones with us aged 7 and 8. Thanks |

If you are only doing SoCal then no I wouldn't. It would take a day to drive there, then 2 days there and a day to drive back.
Death Valley, Joshua Tree or Grand Canyon would be better option depending on where in SoCal you are going. What are your current plans? |

So, have you done Grand Canyon South rim and Death Valley right across from east and west?
What about San Diego, would be a good place with kids. Or maybe Palm Springs and Joshua Tree? If you were to do Yosemite I would do it from Vegas and the fly home from San Francisco. |

Hi you could leave Vegas and go to Yosemite, perhaps an overnight stay on route, 2 nights Yosemite, 1 night Monterey and then back to LA for flight.
Or Palm Springs and San Diego . Edited at 07:42 PM. |
