Dinner party games?

It’s DH’s 40th.

His family; my family and some friends are going for a meal together to celebrate. These three groups are worlds apart 😬

I’ve bought some prizes for party games...but no idea what games to play. Obviously we’ll be in a restaurant, but in a separate area.

Any fun ideas to bring the group together? (Kids present)

Dont do it, I would really hate it, just let them be comfortable in their own groups

Just to clarify, I don’t mean mixing them up or forcing people outside of their comfort zones, I mean not this but things like:

Guess DH waistline (usual baby shower game), where everyone is involved by writing their guess down and perhaps can have a bit of a laugh at DH expense (who is totally up for being butt of the jokes).

The ministers cat.
Goes alphabetically around the table so each person has to think of a word... the ministers cat is an awful cat... angry cat, agile cat, then when a person cant think of something it goes to the next letter, the ministers cat is a balding cat, brown cat... brexit cat! You can if you want give a point to the person who cant think of a word, and the one with least at the end wins. Keep going for as long as you want! Ive never got to z, and its not as boring as it sounds, honest!
