Disney really is getting expensive I watched a vlog of the new Cantina at Galaxys Edge, they got 1 drink each and the bill was $115. Sorry but that is ridiculous!

We are due back in October for our Honeymoon. We said we wouldn't go back to Florida for a while as we felt it was getting all a bit manic generally, but hey it's our Honeymoon but in the back of our mind we know it's going to be mad busy. That said we are not doing Disney all the time on this occasion.

Also with the huge dip in the value of the Pound, unfortunately Florida and the USA generally is no longer as much "fun" because you are almost paying the same amount for goods and food as you would back home. The glory days of $2 to the £1 making everything 'half price' are long gone

No way still love the Parks and we've been regular visitors.
Love em
We go adult only occasionally (2 weeks time!) and can't wait. We do parks, bar hop, eat out, play golf, bar hop, sun lounge, bar hop. It's brilliant and as much fun as we first when with "Jim" Laker 1980.
There's always something different on the Parks but our first and last ride is always Splash.

We are creatures of habit as we have been going to the same Benalmadena, Benidorm hotels since forever as well!

No still love the parks, over the last 25 years have had the pleasure/enjoyment of taking all our family members and now the grand children.
Also enjoy seeing the rest of the world but still need our fix.
Sounds good for the future seeing as everyone has had enough, hopefully quieter parks, shorter queues..who am I kidding but will still be going and making magic.

Once was enough for Orlando when DD was of the age to enjoy it. Went back to Florida last year to do some other things. Just reminded me how many better places and weather there is in the US in the summer.

If we ever have grand kids then maybe will go back once more as a family holiday.

Tampa over the winter months might appeal but that is about it really. Made the mistake of going to the west coast and just killed any appeal for Florida.

We love Florida but not so much the parks. Last visit to WDW was onsite in 2017 and it was amazing but so busy. I think I would only stay onsite in the future but the costs and the crowds put me off. We did DIsneyland California in April this year and we all loved it. Got on every ride and crowds were bearable. We did gulf coast 2018 no parks other than a water park and we are in Orlando and Daytona next Easter and will probably only do Aquatica. Plenty to do without Disney.

Not fallen out of love with Florida, but the theme parks I can live without. The USA as a whole really appeals to us as a family, good weather, lots of do, good beaches, national parks, vibrant cities, and generally a laid back vibe. We have lots of trips in the planning that do not include Florida, but I would happily go and not go near the theme parks & spend 2 weeks on the Gulf.

We’re going this year with our Son, Daughter in law and our 5 year old granddaughter. Really looking forward to see her at Disney for her 1st time. Last year we did it with our Daughter, fiancé and two young grandchildren, loved it.
However, after this year I don’t think we’ll be going for a good few years.
Did a California road trip, San Fran, Lake Tahoe, Death Valley, Vegas, Anaheim and LA fours years ago and it was amazing. We did Alcatraz, Disneyland, Universal, Warner Bros Studio, Sony Studio (got to see Breaking Bad vehicles ) most LA attractions. Definitely want to do it again next year as it was so refreshing not knowing what was around each corner. I did all the planning, flights, hotels, hire car etc. Can’t wait to do it again.

Yes afraid so ,We were blown away by our first visit to MK in 1988 ,and visited another 7 times overvthe years. The last few visits we had noticed the parks getting busier each time and the shine for us was wearing off ( plus our chilidren growing up ) Our last visit was over 10 years ago when we took our whole family including the 2 grandchildren we had at the time .We had a good time but the parks were overfull , there was a definite change in service levels and MK looked very tired
Now all our children have grown up and my DH hates rides its not the sort of place we would go. We would love to take all the family back again so the grandchildren could experience but as there are now 17 of us a lottery win would be needed ! The price of the park tickets are horrendous, and based on my experience really not worth it
We do love Florida though and visit most years
Plus there are so many other places in the world to visit
