I have my ticketsFor May, but haven’t yet reserved park days.
First reason is I’m not sure that if I activate them/register (?) them I’m worried I won’t be able to use them again if the trip gets cancelled, I think they can be used up to end of 2021 if I don’t yet do anything with them (although I can’t remember the actual full details on usage!).
But secondly (And this is actually the Main reason!).. I am not ready for putting any love or plans into this trip until I see a fair chance we’ll be going.
Don’t get me wrong - I’m hoping we go, but until I see what the situation is in February for May, I’ll probably not do anything with them until then. I’ll work around what parks are left and go from there.
Everything crossed but trying not to think about it xx

Like many others, we booked our park passes for our August '21 holiday on the first day the system opened... There's a bunch of threads about the stress of Disney IT that day, 'twas somewhat... frustrating 🤣
Apparently much more stable now, but we've not felt the need to reschedule any of our bookings to try first hand.

Booking park reservations will not activate your tickets or make them unusable should you go later. There was plenty of availability for 2021 when I last looked, but if things are looking quite positive early next year, I don’t think I would want to be booking in February for a May trip.

Many of us have booked holidays and park reservation without really knowing whether the trip will go ahead. I honestly would do it now, there is no downside. Just do it without any fanfare or big family meeting over which park to go to each day. It was nice booking parks.

We've just booked for the end of May and have booked ours easily. Of course it's a case of hope springs eternal for lifting of some restrictions.

We have booked ours for September. We paid for the 14 day ultimate tickets with the high hopes of hopping returning. Thankfully the latest news is that we will still be able to hop to another park if we want to and there is availability.

I’m like you. I can’t bring myself to pay for tickets at 2k and book reservations yet. If it stays like this I will go to universal instead and stay at their preferred hotels with fast passes.

We cancelled our stay onsite/ tickets package for August due to the current lack of one site’ benefits. Switched to offsite and have put deposit down with ATD for 14 day Disney/ 7 day universal tickets. Don’t need to pay balance until 10 days before travel. If things change and all the parks start getting booked up will pay the balance, but currently hoping to hold off as long as possible.

I know this new booking parks system is in place for WDW and the Seaworld parks and have the link as already done BG booking. Do you need to book days for Universal parks and Volcano bay?
I don’t like booking / planning as I’ve been that many times I like being flexible however I understand why and will have to get on with it🤪

We are booked for August 2021 and I haven't booked park reservations yet. I usually use the Busy Day Guide to decide where to go on which days - how have you all decided which park to attend on which days?
