Mobile DC Cabana and non-swim

Has anyone booked a cabana, I’m looking at the middle package which includes the buoy delivered by dolphin. However we did the dolphin swim and don’t want to do it again, but would like the extras on the cabana.
So does anyone know how this works on a non-swim ticket? Do they just bring the buoy to the cabana?

I know when we did if before you had to have at least 1 swim to be able to do the middle package with the bouy

They do do a cabana only option which might suit you - you don't get the photo package or buoy but you don't really need it if you're not doing the swim

Last time we did the cabana we did it with the swim as well. There's nothing I can see in the Ts & Cs to say you have to have a swim but obviously logically it makes sense if it includes the buoy.

We were thinking of the package as we got some really great photo's just from within the Avary last time. We were thinking of maybe a animal experience or Ray feeding this time which was why we wanted photo's.
There is just the two of us so I priced up cabana plus separate photo package and the middle value still works out cheaper.

I think your best bet is to contact DC customer services directly about whether the photo package extends to other animal experiences around the park. We booked the Elite cabana last visit for a similar reason to you: it was cheaper than the cabana/photo packages separately. However, we had the dolphin swim for the buoy and photos. I seem to remember the T&Cs saying that items would be left in the cabana if not participating in the swim but this was in 2017 and may have changed.

For our next visit I have booked the cabana only, as we probably don't need another buoy lying around the house.

I've been in touch with DC customer services many times and they are always very helpful. Once, they actually called me in reply to my email, which was a pleasant surprise!

We did this for my wife who is disabled, although I would say the children did do the dolphin swim so it may be different. However for us we were able to push the wheelchair to the side of the pool, it's basically the left hand side of the pool, and the dolphin brought the buoy over to her that way

We had a non-swim booked two weeks ago with the cabana/bouy. We had to downgrade our booking to cabana only or upgrade to a swim to get the bouy (we downgraded the cabana as we already had a bouy).

I don't know anything about a buoy?!

But we had a cabana at DC on a non-swim day.

Just by pure luck our cabana was right next to the Grand Reef where you swim with the rays.

It was absolutely magical.

We did the elite package a few years ago non swim and the buoy was just delivered to the cabana. Maybe the policy had changed though it was 5 years ago.

We've done this before possibly 4/5 years ago and they just delivered the buoy to the cabana. I wonder if it's changed now as you can book just a cabana in advance which you couldn't do when we booked the non-swim cabana 4/5 years ago. I think you could only book a cabana 30 days before going and it was pot luck if there was any availability which is why we still booked the elite package.

Since then we've booked a cabana only as we didn't need another buoy and didn't want the photo package.
