paying for villa hire

hi how do people pay for villa hire when they book through the dibb?
I want to book a villa but I'm nervous about payment.

I always pay for private villas/condos/apartments in Europe/ US by PayPal. Never had any problems with doing it that way.

hi thanks for the response, are you covered if you use PayPal?

I paid my last dibb villa by bank transfer as they didn't take card payments or paypal. I made sure that I did all the recommended checks that are mentioned in the sticky at the top of this forum first though.

Yes you are, but PayPal's t&c's are different than if you were to pay by credit card as you would be covered by section 75.

I've never had any issues, so no experience about if a payment was to go wrong via PayPal, there's pros and cons of whichever way you pay. Maybe have a look on MSE and see if there's any advice.
