No cash at resort -AKL

I received a new invoice from Disney today with instructions that all payments on Resort have to be on magic bands linked to a credit/debit cards.
The only cash can be used is for tips to staff.
Anyone else get it too?

So, if I put all charges onto magic band throughout my stay, on paying the bill does it HAVE to be taken from the card or could I pay in cash?

Yes I got a new invoice. I was wondering what the point of it was, I would make purchases with magic band anyway.

So was I, but I believe the no cash rule is for everyone not just resort guest.
