We have stayed at Runger Lane North before and are staying at Heald Green in October. I think all 3 would be fine so it mainly comes down to price for us. We will be arriving at Manchester airport by train and apparently it's £6 for a taxi to any of them but HG offers the option of a train back from the airport as well. I would say that if a lift is needed though then the RL options might be best?

If anyone is looking at this for advice generally on Prem Inn, we stay at Runger Lane South, my children are older and prefer showers so the shower pod is better for us and they have to share a bed in Florida in 2 of the hotels anyway so the 2 doubles are fine for us.
Generally family rooms in Prem Inn have the sofa single bed which I cannot fault, however, if you have 2 children, one of them has to then sleep in the pull out trundle bed. It is great to have 2 single beds but... The problem arises with the fact that the mattress is attached to the base of the trundle bed making it impossible to tuck the sheet in under the mattress. If you have wriggly children the sheet gets all rucked up because it cannot be tucked. We love Premier Inns and stay all over the country in them. But this is a wee niggle. Breakfasts are fantastic and kids eat free. We always stay at the airport the night before but we bring a "room picnic" so sandwiches and goodies which is part of our tradition! |

If you are looking for a restaurant nearby for a meal, try the Romper, it’s a 5 minutes walk from both of the premier inns. Plus you can use your Tesco points, it’s a Chef and Brewer pub

Based on what I’ve paid for car hire that seems about average at the moment, we’ve paid £261 for 11 nights for a standard

Hi Wolverine, if you ring HG PI (0161 437 2600) they'll place a note on your booking for a downstairs room. They now have a very nice new extension to the hotel too.
HG is always our PI of choice as we travel by train, the 167 yard walk from HG station to PI is easy as is the Reception booked £6 taxi to the terminal.
