Flydrive - good price?
Pricing up to go to LA during February half term next year. 2 ad and 2 kids (13 & 11), with group F car is coming out at £1500 with BA - which is during the half term holiday. I have no idea if this is good or not, as only been to Orlando previously. These are direct flights, LHR to LAX , 15-22 Feb 20. What do people think? Thanks.

The airlines with 330 day release haven’t opened the return date yet, so it’s hard to compare, but it seems like a pretty good price.

That’s a really good price inclusive of car, insurance etc. We’re going Heathrow to San Fran, LA to Heathrow with 7 seater for 15 nights in the Easter hols, £420 each. Enjoy the planning. Hardest part I’m finding is which bits to cut out!

Thanks, when I booked the price had dropped to £1390 - which i’m pleased with. It’s the accommodation that’s daunting me now!

If you confirm which stops you’re doing I can give you a run down of where I booked ..we’re a family of 5 so knew we’d struggle to find larger rooms etc unless I booked early.

Currently planning on:
2 nights Burbank - to do WB studio tour, Hollywood sign, Griffiths Observatory and Chinese Theatre/Walk of Fame 5 nights Anaheim to do Disneyland. DH (who doesn’t normally get involved) mentioned staying in a Disney hotel for the Anaheim stay. I’ve started to look at renting DVC, and the nightly price is around £250 for the Californian hotel, which didn’t seem too bad. Thanks
