We have booked a quick trip in late Sept , flying Virgin Econ delight for the first time . Been on to book our seats and on our return trip cant check two seats together! Is it likely that the seats are all booked or do they only release so many to pre book. Not relishing the idea of sitting apart... any suggestions pl ...

We always used to book the extra legroom seats now known as Economy Delight on VA,since they changed to Delight they seem to be gone very quick,we only managed to get them one way last Month and can't get them for either leg this December. They used to be easy to book.

Could it be that they have grey out all the regular seats as you are entitled to ELR seats with Econ Delight? So they don't have any ELR seats left together?

(I know for our outbound booking we can only see normal econ seats and all others greyed out and on our return we can only see PE seats and all other greyed out)

Looking at other replies I guess there aren't many ELR /Econ Delight seats. I wonder if there's a chance of an upgrade . Probably need to keep looking.

I’d give flying club a quick call and just ask. It could be that they have all gone. Ec delight is a nice experience and May be getting people from PE selecting down as well.

When DH tried to book himself onto my flight for March this year he was told there were no seats, even when he phoned so he had to book an indirect flight. Two days later Virgin cancelled my flight.

Think only a couple of PE available and 1 is upstairs and the other down.
