Caribean Beach versus Pop Century

There is only £13 pound difference between the two hotels. Considering the building work going on which would you choose.

how many people?

Personally even with the building works I would still opt for a mod over a value resort for such a small extra cost.

Just two adults £13 extra per room per night. Just the building work putting me off. Stayed Old Key West last year but looking for somewhere a bit cheaper this year.

For 2 adults pop would be fine as a base as your not likely to spend a lot of time there.

I personally wouldn’t touch CBR with the building works. There’s a reason is come down in price so much. I wouldn’t stay at Pop either though personally. Have you looked at POR or POFQ?

I would always say CBR but I haven’t read anything about how it is with the building work going on.

Depends when it’s for - you might find a moderate to be a better bet with the free nights offer. We went to CBR in Nov for a quick visit and it was a total mess. I’d be more inclined to go for a refurbed preferential room at Pop tbh if the free dining isn’t in play - fully functioning food court and no building works.

It somewhat depends on when you are thinking of going.

The food court and main building work at CBR is due to end this summer (August, I think), although the work on the gondolas and gondola station will continue until 2019. If you're visiting later this year then I'd go for CBR.

CBR even with building work. We had a one night stay at POP and decided not to stay when we got there, the resort and rooms weren't for us
