you have gatwick north which is at the terminal and the new one. The other is airport way which is a 3-5 min walk. We always stay at airport way, nice restaurant and i find it quieter. I wouldn't say either of them are not nice. Other than the outside decor, one being older and one being newer inside i find all premier inns the same.

We have stayed at both, both were fine but Gatwick north is right next to the airport. The other one is not far (we walked it) but had a couple of dodgy roads to cross and a roundabout 😳.
North is much more convenient but will probably be quite a bit more money. |

Stayed at Airport Way last month as North Terminal was and additional £20 which we did not think was worth it. Although it is an older building our room, bed and bathroom were fine. There is a restaurant which was very busy so the food cannot be that bad. The walk to the airport is not that far and we did not have any issues crossing the road. Would stop there again.

Gatwick North is the better one, just two min walk across the road to departures. It's usually a bit more expensive than the other but still cheap by airport hotel standards! And worth it.

We stay at the one on Airport Way. Clean, comfortable and great food.

This one really isn't nice: London Gatwick Airport South (London Road)

Stayed at Airport Way in Dec 2010. It would have been walkable but Gatwick had been closed 4 days and was under several feet of snow! So we paid £11 for a five minut e taxi ride from the airport, swizz!
The hotel was fine and I would stay there again. We did Gatwick North in 2014 purely because it was so easy to just cross the road, and we waited for one of their regular offers and got it for £29. It is newer so perhaps in better condition, but both were fine. It was Oct 31 when we checked in to Gatwick North, and all the staff had dressed up and were raising money for GOSH. I will never forget getting into the lift and seeing a zombie with an axe in his head, who uttered low threatening moans all the way down! Seriously, these guys were CM level.
