Manchester fuel problems

Just checked in to hotel at Manchester airport, ready for our flight tomorrow to find out a lot of cancellations due to fuel problem at the airport, should be sorted by 22:00, just hoping there is no knock on effect for our flight tomorrow! 😫

Just got to feel for all those whose have been cancelled today!
Thought the sky was pretty clear as we were driving in!

It is a power failure preventing refuelling.

Hopefully will be sorted. FWIW was once in Lagos when the airport was short of fuel (fairly common problem there) and we did a short hop to next door Ghana to refuel before heading home. BA flight.

So they have ways and means when these things happen but expect they’ll have this sorted and won’t need to resort to this.

From reading the Manchester airport boards a lot of flights are stuck over seas as there’s no where for them at Manchester till they clear some of the flights stuck there
And the fuel still not working

Off to try and get some kip, it might be a long day tomorrow! Or i’ll Wake up and it will all have been a bad dream!

It was on the local news, they are having problems with a power cut. Hopefully it’s been fixed.
