Virgin Twilight Check-In...Put My Mind at Rest!

Hi all

I’m a constant worrier (my husband would say obsessed ) and this year I really want to do Twilight check in at Gatwick the night before BUT I’m stressing about my luggage making it on the correct plane the next day

Am I being silly? Has anyone had any problems or lost luggage doing Twilight check-in?!?

Thank you

I have done twilight check in, many, many times... and my cases have always been at the other end.

We’ve been doing twilight checkin every year for the last 14 yrs and never had any problems, it’s a big relief to get your your luggage done and knowing where your sitting, also to relax in the morning knowing that’s all done, but that’s my personal experience.

I’ve done twilight check in and worked perfectly.

And to put your mind rest, think of it this way : your bags are in the right place not just 2 or 3 or 4 hours early but almost an entire day. They are labelled, kept safe and in the very right place for your flight and in fact the more people who do twilight check in then the quicker the load in for flights and better chance of a punctual departure.

You are helping your fellow travellers as well as making the start of your next day easier

Don't worry. Your bags will be fine and you will find it is a great relaxing way to start your holiday. When you wake up the morning you fly you arrive at the airport and just walk straight to security.

Probably a daft question but I've never done twilight check on before. Does your hand luggage get checked in also?
