Barcelona cruise - hotel recommendation
Looking to book a cruise from Barcelona and I wondered if anyone could recommend a hotel that's not too far from the cruise terminal but close enough to see a bit of Barcelona. Ideally would like to spend less than £200 for the night.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We've stayed at the Novotel which is very close to the underground so you can get to the centre pretty quickly.

We are cruising from Barcelona next Easter and have booked the hotel jazz which came highly recommended on here. I am not sure how close it is to the cruise terminal as we will just get a transfer but it seems pretty central for sightseeing.

I am staying at hotel 1898 which is right on la rambla so very central and 10 mins in a cab to the port. I've stayed at this hotel a few times and can't recommend it highly enough. I know there are cheaper options but I couldn't go to Barcelona now without staying at this hotel.

We are just south of Barcelona this week and then are staying at the Grand Marina Eurostars at the port on Friday night before we join the Magic on Saturday.
Not the cheapest but hope to have a view of the ship when we wake up in the morning and it s very close to the WTC shopping centre and the ramblas for the day before. Gillian. |

Last year we stayed at Renaissance Barcelona Hotel, booked via DCL.
Hotel is quite central. It does not have a pool though, apart from that very nice hotel.

We are staying at the Hilton diagonal del mar, it's one of the hotels Disney uses but we booked it ourselves (much cheaper) and were using dcl transfers to and from the port. Hotel has a pool and is near the beach, about 15 mins to the centre with a big shopping mall across the road.
It was cheaper than the Novotel for our dates, staying next week (excited!) so will post a review when we are back
