Reporting Posts

Admin can not read every post or every forum, so problems may occur in a thread or forum that we have not read. Due to this we have a report post feature.

5. Reporting Posts and Bad behaviour

We encourage our members to report any Post or Personal Message (PM) that they object to rather than posting in the forums.

To report a post just click the Red Triangle at the bottom left (top left if on mobile device) of the relevant post.

A report will be sent to the administrators who will take any appropriate action.

It may take up to 48 hours for any action to be taken.

Please do not re-report the same post or pm because you think no action has been taken.

You will not be notified and we may have decided that action is not required.

If you do report a post then please do not then reply or quote the post you are reporting in the thread, all this does it make it harder to deal with the initial issue.

What happens when you report a post

When you click the red triangle to report a post you will see a pop up where you can write your reasons for reporting. Once you click 'Send Report' the following happens :-

1. A new post is created in our private Admin forum.

2. The new post will contain your username, a link to the post you are reporting and what you typed in as the reason for reporting.

3. When Admin log in we will see that there has been a new reported post.

4. An Admin will look at the post that has been reported and take any necessary action.

5. All reports are confidential, we will not divulge who has reported a post.

Please Note that this is not an instant process, admin are not online 24/7 and sometimes a reported post may need to be discussed between admins to assess what if any action should be taken.

Sometimes we may leave a thread running if we feel the issue has resolved itself by the time we get to see it.

Sometimes we may disagree with the report and take no action. We often get reports where someone doesn't like something but when we look at it it is just a difference of opinion rather than an actual breach of our T&C's.
