Downtown cancelled.

Just had notification that our booking for November at downtown has been cancelled. No explanation. No availability for any of our dates now. Annoyed as it was for Dw birthday.

Odd. They could of least given you a reason why.

Some sort of explanation would have been nice. Seems to be disneys once exemplary customer service continues to slip.
But I heard that some folk were being moved to disneyland hotel from marvel during the same week. I'd guess one of our large coperate friends has taken over marvel for a few days. Both restaurants unavailable for 3 days.

You could give them a ring and see what they can do? It’s a shame but it does happen. Maybe they can book you into somewhere else?

Some folk already tried and got a standard response.
Our experiences are subject to chance etc yada yada.
We've booked pyms but will probably cancel. Doesn't look that great.

Pyms is fun, not as good it could be but worth it.

Oh no - what date did you have booked. I’ve just checked and we still have a booking for 11th November.

Apparently 12th to 14th Inc are all unavailable . Both restaurants in marvel hotel. Triesd to get one for the 11th , no availability.

I would ring them - I had to ring to book the 11th cos it would let me book for 2 but not 3 people - they did it manually for me. But that was a couple of months ago. I’d try to call asap before anyone else who has also had it cancels tries to book for the 11th.

So.it would appear there's a stich up job going on here. No availability for any sit down restaurants in parks for dinner. None. For the 12-14th of November. They don't even show. Marvel bookings have been moved to disney hotel. So I heard it maybe cast member appreciation. So could it be? With there being absolutely no restaurant availability It looks like the parks are closing early. Is it?
Or is it a large corporate job. ?...
Either way I'm beginning to feel second best as a disney paying customer.
