Thank you. I’ll look into that one. We like the Oatly one because it’s fortified with vitamins and minerals but it might actually be different in the US.

I’ve gone through all of the quick service menus and made a note of things that he can eat just so we don’t have to spend ages looking on the day. Lots of things like chicken and rice bowls, salmon and green beans, pasta etc. it’s very handy that they include a milk allergy section on all of the menus

The beverage cooler in our room last year was actually pretty cold, and we manged to use it to store milk, fruit and babybels in it!

I don't have an answer to this unfortunately, but there's a group on FB called 'Veg Disney' where I'm sure you'd get an answer!

I'm not sure how old your son is, but could you get long life pouches of the dairy free ones? That's what we did last time we went. I brought a few boxes of fruit pouches and long life yoghurts with us in the case so that I could be relaxed that they'd have things they'd eat, and also that they weren't full of sugar. I just had a drawer in the room filled with stuff for them (also brought some of their regular snacks and pancakes with us too) and the each night I filled up a lunch bag for them that I would lift in the morning along with some fruit from the fridge.

If you are not going for an off-property shop, can you order and receive a delivery at your hotel? If so, I would do that. Publix has dairy-free milk and yoghurt options. Whole Foods has more options. (WF is our preferred store for dairy alternatives.) Walmart may have one or two brands though their availability can be inconsistent.

When we go to Orlando we often grab an uber (if we don't have a hire car) and do a quick food shop for essentials as it makes the rest of the holiday so much simpler.

If you go to oatly.com/en-us you can see a list of their ingredients and where they are sourced. (If you want to use oatly in Orlando, you may be interested in comparing?)

Whole Foods has unsweetened and unflavoured dairy-free yoghurts. Four or five different brands, if memory serves.

We are doing a grocery order but wasn’t sure how well it would keep in the beverage cooler so was hoping they might just have small tubs for sale in the resort fridges so we don’t have to keep throwing loads out.

My ds is lactose intolerant and we found plant based milk tricky. We did Instacart orders for coconut based yoghurts but the sizes of the alternative milks were just too big to fit in the cooler. My son is older and can have some dairy so it was generally ok but we would’ve struggled more when he was under 7 and couldn’t really have any dairy.

We’ve decided to just bring our own small cartons of the Alpro growing up oat milk and hope it doesn’t explode in the bag! Have ordered some coconut yogurt from Instacart so he’ll have some for the first couple of days at least. It’s crazy how hard it is to find a plain plant based yogurt that isn’t full of sugar!
