Best resort quick service?

We do not have park tickets on our upcoming trip so we would like to spend some time resort hopping and exploring the different food options. What are some of your favourite quick service restaurants and meals across the resorts? Are there any real hidden gems?

We’d like to try Primo Piatto and Gasparilla Island Grill, and will definitely make the trip over to POFQ for some beignets. Also, is Tonga toast really worth the hype?

I like Captain Cooks in the Poly for QS, also one of those you mentioned already, Primo Piatto.

I have never had Tonga Toast in a QS, but I have had it at Kona Cafe and it was ok, and I have had it at Rainforest Cafe and it was very good (and very different to the Kona Cafe one).

We have done Captain Cooks but it was a good few years ago so maybe we will have to revisit. I had no idea you could get Tonga toast at Rainforest cafe! I read that you can mobile order from Kona Cafe and was wondering whether to do that for breakfast one morning seeing as we are spending a few nights at the Poly. Decisions decisions 😊

I know you're hitting POFQ anyway - but I actually really liked the main food options there when we stayed last year. There were the usual chicken tenders options and things like that if you want it, but they also had a really great little salmon entree (not sure if it's still on the menu now). I didn't try the gumbo or the jambalaya, but they looked fantastic, and there was a few almost roast-dinner-y kind of options. Really enjoyed everything I tried from there!

Primo Piatto is excellent, as is Captain Cooks.

We're looking at Roaring Fork (Wilderness Lodge) and The Mara (Animal Kingdom Lodge) on our upcoming trip.

Good to know about POFQ, will have a nosey at the menu

We are doing a split stay across Copper Creek, Kidani and the Poly, so Roaring Fork and The Mara are also on my radar! Also hoping to try Wailulu Bar and Grill.

We like Geysers Point QS not sit down one. The bison burger is great and you can mobile order.

I'm thinking about the tonga toast at Captain Cooks as it has to be better than the Kona one, which was so disappointing, hardly any banana filling. 😕

I remember it was very dry too, I had to drench it in sauce.

Rainforest Cafe is my breakfast gem. Only I knew about it, until now.

I had the mixed grill platter in Centertown Market at the Caribbean Beach Resort last year and thought it was very tasty.

Yes, the strawberry(?) sauce was needed! Not the best choice.
