*UPDATED* Disney now accepting some October dates!

I just called Disney as I couldn’t see any hotels past September 2019. I was advised that they are not taking any bookings past this month. Annoyingly the guy was pretty rude and unhelpful 🙄

I don’t remember this ever happening before? Does anyone have any idea as to why Disney have done this? Is it due to Star Wars Land opening? Or perhaps they released the hotels at the wrong price?

It’s just frustrating as a group of us are going next year and we can’t get the ball rolling until Disney sort it out 😏

That’s strange - I priced up October half term 2019 online on Thursday and got shown a range of Disney hotels.

I’ve just checked again and got a ‘high demand’ error message.

Hope you get it sorted soon

There’s another thread on it, it’s been happening for days now. They keep saying it’s for a conference but just basically fibbing everyone off , everything is currently offsale . I’m sure it will be well posted on here when normal service resumes. TAs are reporting they can't book either

I tried to price a hotel yesterday and had the same message from Goofy.

Not in a desperate rush to get it booked but frustrating all the same when you're trying to price everything up.

Perhaps they just need to put a brief message to say that bookings aren't being taken for holidays beyond a certain date. Just be truthful Disney...

Yeah it was mentioned on a different thread, essentially they do this when a large number of groups book apparently. There must be a lot of groups hoping to be their for the opening.

problem is no one knows what the date is, so I'm guessing these large groups are booking multiple days and weeks if its true.

keep trying as they seem to be not taking bookings one day and taking them the next.

My parents booked for November 2019 via Disney last week. We’re hoping to book sometime and join them so this is a little worrying!
