Question Clearwater plans?

Hey there guys, I'm just wondering if any of you can please help me with our plans for a Clearwater day? I'm looking for some ideas of how best to spend our day and what's must do etc. as we do only plan to go for the one day on our upcoming trip.
So far all we know for sure is that we aim to be on the road by around 9/9.30am and would quite like to watch the sunset and do the Little Toot...oh actually on that note...do any of you know if its best to pre book this or is it a turn up and book for later that day type thing?

All itinerary suggestions would be really greatly appreciated

Little Toot often have deals on Groupon. The first time we went to Clearwater and didn't know what was there we just happen to pass by and got on no problems.
At the end of the jetty in the marina is a little bar, really unique. I only found it as we were leaving so it is on my to do list this year😁

Lots of things to see and do in Clearwater Beach
Along the pier is the sunset celebration which runs 2hrs before sunset and 2hrs after.
At weekends at the pier they have family movie night, bring a blanket/chair to sit on.
Little toot ... we have never pre booked. Just sorted a slot as soon as we have arrived.
Plenty of bars and eating places along the beach front that you can stop at and watch the sunset.
Gondalier and clear sky cafe lovely places to have tea after the sunset.
Just enjoy the long white powder sand with the calm warm sea. You might even catch the dolphins or manatees swimming around the pier area.
Just kick back relax and unwind.

Thank you so much guys, that's perfect! Good to get some recommended eateries too . And it's really great to know that we prob don't need to book too far in advance...I'm always a tad worried about doing that now after having issues with pre-booked stuff last time we were there due to hurricane Matthew

Really looking forward to trying something completely new
