There is an Atlas V launch planned for Monday afternoon.

I've got tickets booked for Monday, Expecting some kinda launch lol.

I'm undecided whether to go to Kennedy or find a spot to park up and watch it go up. Probably a silly question but will it be rammed on a launch day?

We are wanting to go and watch the launch from somewhere as well...just don't know,where to head for...ideas anyone?.

Just googled and the best place to watching his type of rocket launch is from playalinda beach... $5 to park...

if you are going to playalinda beach ive just been reading that there is absolutely nothing there so you'll need to take in food and drinks especially as the launch window is 2hrs from 1.30pm and best to get there at least 1.5hrs before so its a long time without food or water!

Should also mention that unless your open minded don't go down to the beach at lot 13

hahah yeh i read that! LOL...going by some of the sights we have seen this holiday hopefully none of those type will be on that bit of the beach! enough to put you off your pepperoni baguette

Bit late now... but I always liked Cocoa Beach for the launches. It might not be the closest, but the pier provides the facilities to make it a pleasant day out
