Jiko or Saana

We love AKL and are planning to send an evening there.

We've been to Boma but wanted to book an ADR at either Jiko or Saana. (Been to Jiko many years ago, service was not great tbh, but that was 7 years ago.) Not been to Saana, heard great things.

What are your thoughts and preferences Dibbers, which one do you prefer? We can only book 1.

Jiko is one of our favourite signatures on property (I�m sure you�re aware it�s 2 ts credits) the food and service has always been outstanding.

I like Sanaa for lunch but it�s never wows me, we�ve stayed at the AKL quite a few times and love opening the curtains on a morning to see the animals so maybe the novelty of eating lunch and watching them just isn�t there for me.

Food wise definitely Jiko!

I�m following this thread as I�m thinking of booking Jiko as an ADR as we are staying at AKL for the first time.

2 very different options & I would base my choice on your reason for going- Jiko if I was after something "posher" & Sanaa for anything else. We had a mixed bag at Sanaa, the bread service was excellent but my entree whilst tasty wasn't very hot & I suspect had sat for a bit. I also didn't think that our server was the best, I'm not even sure that we got drinks refills.
