Always had a fake tree, just followed suit from what I grew up with.

When did you finally take yours down this year?

Fake for us, real one takes up too much room now the elderly relatives stay at ours for Christmas.

"Sorry you can't come, we need the space for a tree" would seem a bit mean really

So we have a narrowish, tallish, real-look tree that they think is real because we burn the "green" yankee candle in the morning (this year's green one is Evergreen Mist - smells lovely!)

Just had a check Julie
The missus ‘disrobed’ it without warning while I was at work on 27th March

Fake tree now. Have had real ones a few times and always had real ones as a kid but they are generally quite pricey so we just invested in a fairly decent fake one a couple of years back.

We have 2 fibre optic trees that we love. Had a real tree once and it was a nice change but the fake trees easier to manage.

Nothing matches the smell of a real tree, first thing in the morning.

We used to have a real tree then went to fake ones but they weren't that good so went back to real but now we have a very good fake tree but did spend a fair bit on it, got it in the sales after Christmas one year from John Lewis. It's a lot less faff than a real one.

We add the scent sticks so it smells like a real one.

We have a fake one...but it is pre-lit, then I add more lights onto it! 🤣

Artificial. Have never had a real tree, and its always been an artificial one here growing up, tbh real trees are not very common here where I live at all. My friend up the street always had a real one every year, but she was the one and only person I have ever own to have one.

I just dont like the look of real ones, they just don't look like a Christmas tree to me, and very mis-shapen, big and bare
