Mobile ordering...

How do you use this?

Is it for Counter Service only or snacks?

Oh, mobile ordering is great! You can order anything you like, from one drink to an entire meal. It's only quick service places that have mobile ordering though. The best thing is that you can order food as early as you like and pick it up when you're ready. So you can kill queue time by deciding what to eat and ordering it at any time. Then, when you're ready to eat, head to the restaurant and hit the "I'm here - prepare my order" button and wait. We usually hit "we're here" as we're walking towards the restaurdant so it's ready as soon as we're there.

If I've done this correctly, this should show you a list of everyewhere you can use mobile ordering:

We used it all the time, so much quicker too. In addition to that, some places have secret menu items that are only available via mobile order.

Which ones have secret menu items? I can’t seem to see any!

Just don't expect it to work as well at Universal! I've never been able to get that one to work well...

You don't need to be staying on site or have a dining plan to use mobile ordering either.

We used it to order hot dogs from Casey's Corner and it was brilliant. The normal queue was huge but mobile orders were picked up at a side entrance. I'd linked my debit card to MDE before we left the UK and paid through the app with that.

Your best bet it to find the YouTube vid that Disney Food Blog did on secret menus, it’s not obvious where dose and doesn’t have them.

Yes it's brilliant! We used it on our last Christmas trip every day - meant we never had to queue for food even though it was super busy and I saw others queueing for 40+ minutes for a meal at the likes of Columbia Harbour House or Flametree BBQ!

Does ordering via the mobile app allow you to tweak the order e.g. most burgers listed on the menus i've seen are cheese burgers but could you order it without the cheese via the app?
Thanks
