Here now - been robbed!

We are here now and today we went shopping to the Florida mall. We got two new iPads plus some other bits and pieces! We put them into the boot before leaving the mall, making sure it was all fully covered with clothes left in the car! We were then unknowingly followed all the way back to the Olive Garden near to downtown Disney! We then left the car and popped in for some tea! The minute we were out of site the car lock was punched and everything was gone! We have reported this to the police and they have told us that there is a gang of people following people from electronic stores and then stealing their goods! Not a very nice way to end a good day

That's terrible, really sorry this happened. We bought a ps4 last week but got it from Walmart in the end. Puts a real downer on your holiday when stuff like that happens

That's awful really spoils your holiday we hade our safe opened in our hotel room in 2011 2 iPods and 2 pairs of Bose headphones stolen police were involved then the hotel said they knew nothing about it even after they had taken a statement from us

Oh no.. How awful for you! I always feel uneasy at Florida Mall.
I know it's not much but will your insurance cover you for your losses?

That is awful ! Thanks for sharing as it might help others avoid it. I certainly will make sure we take stuff back to hotel directly. Hope your insurance cover the loss - but nevertheless I would still feel shaken/upset if it hapoened to me.

I'm really sorry to hear this, thanks for letting us know. I've always been wary here at home and never load the boot then go back to a shop. But to leave and be followed is another step. Hope you get some progress with insurance.

I also was robbed from the florida mall. Had a shopping bag of jc penny's clothes on DD buggy and they where taken, don't know when and don't know how they did it.

I was told it's very common in the malls.
