There's simply no way to do the parks without a lot of walking. I have mobility issues but still clocked up 5 - 8 miles a day.
Universal & IOA are quite spread out so lots of walking. I'd suggest you all start upping your walking in the months before your trip. Maybe fitbits or similar for xmas gifts? Also make sure everyone has a couple of decent pairs of shoes/trainers to help with sore feet. I recommend Skechers but I am sure you can get some other recommendations too. Happy planning

I think the key to a successful Florida holiday is planning.
The old saying fail to plan, plan to fail is true here. Although planning will not definitely how great your holiday will be (some of best days are spare of the moment decisions) it will help your feet and footware. I used water parks and mini golf as afternoon activities. This meant a busy morning and a bit of a relaxing afternoon. Remember you don't have to do everything... You can always go back |
