Would u upgrade these flights
Me, dh and dd all have 20000 miles with AA we can upgrade from economy to business for £350pp, this includes taxes and buying 5000 extra miles pp. If it was BA or virgin I wouldn't hesitate but wondering what business is like with AA and if people think it's worth it. This is one way lhr- clt-mia or mco-clt-lhr, I know the internal flight won't be as good but what would we get different from economy on this, also which flight would u upgrade, in swaying towards return as can still have few drinks then hopefully be able to sleep.

Yes, I like American's business offerings , it's very comfortable and the staff are great.
I find business with both BA and Virgin on the bucket and spade routes is not as good as the normal transatlantic routes (NYC, BOS, SFO etc) so I'd consider them to offer less value. I'd do the return for two reasons , one it's overnight so sleep is more important and two if you do it going out, economy will feel like a big drop as you will be comparing it with the outbound. Added benefit of indirect is you will be arriving into MCO as domestic arrivals so just grab your bags and go. No queuing ! You'll be in first on the domestic leg so will still get food and booze... and a bigger seat. Edited at 01:30 PM. |

I have flown business with them a couple of times. Very impressed and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. They practically force fed me food and drinks when I politely declined their offers
One stewardess insisted that I have one of her concoctions which she said she was famous for! My route was Dub Phi Mco Enjoy |
