I'm interested to see how it will work out and what exactly will be included, hoping the magical star is! It probably means I have a drink problem but I really wish the alcohol with the meals were like the snack credits so we could use our 10 and 13 year olds 😉

I know you posted this a month ago but I've also started wondering if we could eat separate to the children and order alcohol with their meal (for us) and they have a cup of ice water with their food tbh my kids prefer water so not such an evil parent here.

that would be great but I think it's unlikely to happen

I think it could possibly be done for the QS but not TS.

I wonder if the included alcoholic drink would be available on all qs meal credits? As all credits would be on the same room account, would there be any way of knowing if I was having an alcoholic drink with my 18 year old daughter's share of the credits? It's not something I would tend to do when DD wants a nice milkshake etc but DD doesn't drink fizzy drinks and often likes just free iced water with her meal so would be a shame to waste the drink 😀

Hmm, this is a weird one isn't it? As we know the QS credits are not age specific so when my kids were disney kids we were able to order adult meals from QS using our credits. So, I'm thinking it must be the same for the beverage?

The only issue I can think of is them wanting to see ID...in the past if DH and myself have had a margarita or something the were happy to serve one of us 2 drinks...I wonder if there is a limit on the number of alcoholic beverages per person or if they will want to have sight of who the drinks are for to avoid alcohol being bought for under 21s. Just a thought nd my speculation. We will probably have to wait until the first few dibbers visit in January to know how it all works.

In Universal this year my DH ordered 2 Duff beers in Springfield and he could only have the one, I had to get my own as they had to see each person buying alcohol. So I guess it could be how they do it at Disney.
But in theory, it could work out that more than 50% of the meals could be served with alcohol if I queued at 2 qs outlets for both our meals. Don't think I could be bothered just for an extra drink 😀 but it may be possible if someone wanted to.

Haha, this exact same thing happened to us in the same location. I was with DS buying lunch at the taco truck DH was with DD buying with beers, but they only let him buy 1. She's 10 so as they couldn't see me they wouldn't sell more than 1 drink.

Hmm, yes, I agree I'm not sure I have it in me to queue up more than once for QS! I've seen a few vlogs recently where they are doing mobile ordering but I don't think this can be done for dining plans and credits, I think it is only for oop as the credit card is used. But this would save queueing up so I would like to do the mobile ordering.
