I went into Thomas Cook a few weeks back and tried to price up for going on/around 30th March next year for 14 days and they couldn't/wouldn't do flights because of blackout dates for Easter.

Just be careful of dates

Thanks for this but I’ve looked at blackout dates for the past 7 years & I think we’ll be ok. It’s never been more than 16 days before good Friday 🤞

I would not book without having it in writing on the booking contract that dining was included. Unless of course you can afford to pay for dining regardless.

If Disney were not allowing Virgin to pre-book, they wouldn't be pre-booking. Free dining is listed on my booking, the only problem come 19th April would be if they've oversold our resort and room type. I have it in black and white that if they cannot honour the booking, they will offer an alternative or I will get my deposit back (win/win.) I can't see them overselling French quarter standard rooms. Hopefully not anyway.
As it stands, the price I'm paying for next year is the same as Disneys price for accommodation/ tickets/ upgraded dining, plus paying separately for VA flights (this years price.) For us, we only wanted VA flights from Manchester so booked at a price we are happy with. Roll on 19th!

Good price overall.

It also seems you have got everything managed really well and understanding everything in writing.

On prices go with your gut, if you happy to pay it and don't look back. You might be able to pay a bit less but prices may also rise.

Thanks for this, I had £7,500 in my head for accommodation, tickets & flights booking DIY, so this is coming in below that. I honestly don’t think I could do better DIY
