I would go DIY. It's always worked out cheaper. And stupidly thisnear we went with VH. Not plain sailing so far and more expensive than DIY would have been.

I'd atleast wait til all companies can give you a quote. You seem to like the idea of saving £400 so why not wait & see how much quotes are elsewhere?
No benefit of booking now unfortunately.

It sounds like you have everything to gain by waiting for at least 28 days. You can still plan, I have started a plan for 2020!
