Want to book for Easter 2019 but partner says it will be far to busy. Because we have to stick to school holidays i personally think Easter would be good for us |

I'm not there now, but...
I would not choose to go at Easter because... It is the second busiest time of year, after Christmas. You can check out the queue times on apps like the the Disney one. There is no free Disney dining (usually) at Easter either. You can only go for two weeks or less. The prices are not significantly cheaper than summer. |

We are not there now but went last Easter. It is manageable but is really, really busy so much so that we are now trying end of Aug even though it will be very hot and wet. The thing you need to look at is Spring Break rather than Easter itself. If Easter is late then Spring Break tends to have finished so that the parks will be quieter than if it hits at Spring Break time. Have a look at past years in the historic times to see if you can do it when it is really busy MK can be horrid as you are literally getting out of people's way every 2 seconds. To combat everything plan, plan, plan and hit reservations as soon as possible (literally to the second) and actually look to go to MK on a weekend (tends to be changeover days and the locals tend to avoid during spring break so is quieter, but still very busy).

Easter is a very busy time in Florida - it's near spring break, loads of people have time off and it's about the only family holiday destination (anywhere) likely to have good weather for the whole time - any European destination could be yucky whereas in the summer you'll get sun anywhere but at Easter it's Florida, Caribbean or South East Asia only -so the popularity and competition for places on the plane is greater

We are here now for a cheeky week away. Tbh we hadnt planned to do the parks as we are back last 2 weeks of August anyway (dreaded school hols as the missus works in school admin).
Having read about changing universal tix to annual passes though, we went to guest services and decided to do that. Back there today as the easter block out days have finished and we can upgrade for free (3 park for 2 park but not used vb). We went one night after 6pm to see Mardi Gras and it was rammed but got on Mummy & Transformers ok. No chance with Minnions & didnt venture to HP. Orlando itself is very busy with big restaurant queues. The traffic is horrendous. Got out to Clearwater yesterday for the sea screamer which was superb and in our top 10 of things now Personally I wouldnt do easter for parks unless they are near 'free'. We have been last 2 weeks of August before and it is much quieter but you run the risk of hurricanes. |

Depends exactly when you go, but possibly. We were here at Easter last year (week before and week after, Easter was 2 weeks later than this year) and arrived Easter weekend this year (still in Orlando right now).
Last year the first week and Easter weekend were busy, but the week after Easter was a lot quieter. This year it was still very busy for almost the whole week after Easter, possibly due to the US school holidays still running, along with the tail end of the Spring Break season still running (loads of people from Michigan here this week). Didn't go to Disney this year, but Universal was super-busy, would not have been a lot of fun without Express passes. If the US holidays have finished, and Spring break should have finished before Easter next year, then it will be quieter, but these things are not always easy to predict. Easter holidays suit us for various reasons, especially the weather, but you do have to contend with the crowds. I agree with the poster above that the traffic has been pretty heavy around the Orlando area. |

Search for 2019 spring break and Universal Mardi Gras dates. If easter 2019 is outside of those then should be ok. Either way, its not impossible to do if you expect crowds and are ready to deal with them.

In 2014 Easter was late April. We arrived on the Easter weekend, which was understandably crazy but after that, it died right down and a lot of rides were easily accessible.
