Mobile Flydrive Question

How long in advance can you book a flydrive? Is it 11 months from return date similar to flights?

With BA yes with virGin holidays (not Virgin Atlantic) you can book it much further out.

IMHO you are best booking after the flights are on sale before that the TA is tak8ng a gamble on what t(e flight prices will be and of course they gomf9r the most expensive.

Thank you. I’m looking at September 2019 flying with Virgin so might wait a bit yet

No reason not to get a quote so you can see what sort of price they may charge and then also get one for the same holiday this year (not the same dates exactly but so it's the same I.e. both leave on a Saturday or both come back the day before term) if the numbers look similar then you may as well book.

If this year looks massively cheaper then wait, if it looks really more expensive then maybe book now

The only thing you lose by getting a quote is a few minutes your time.

We are going next August and I don’t expect to book Virgin (expensive and I don’t like them) I called Virgin Holidays yesterday really just to see what their price will Be for the hotel. They quotes £5900 I think for flights for two weeks, 1 week at CBR two week passes and DDP (no car) I make the Disney bits £2200 - £2500 so a over a grand each for flights in Economy For 2A and 1C I don’t think so.

Last year I paid £1275 for flights and car with BA and the. £2258 for POFQ and DDP.

Also I believe if you ge5vcarvhire with Virgin it does not give .you the level of 8nsurance you need where as BA does

We’ve always found Virgin much dearer than others. Even now (and prices have come down a fair bit) what we’ve paid £4200 for in July / August (flights / car + nsurance) is showing on Virgin for £7573.90. That £3373 has paid for the rest of our holiday.
