We fly out on 13th April & although we hadn't planned a trip to Epcot on 14th we may just have to 'hop' over to get our test track fix before they shut it down then
Shame it'll be closed for the rest of our trip though Am living in hope they may delay closure for a couple of weeks closer to the time. Unlikely I know but you never know |

cannot believe that Epcots biggest attraction will be closed all through the busy summer months, it does need updating but surely keep the old ride going until the new ones ready

How can you keep a ride open at the same time its being refurbished?! There's NEVER a good time to close an attraction - Disney is a huge and intelligent corporate beast, so they must know they can suffer the temporary closure of TT.

Test Track is in my top 5 rides easy... can't imagine loving any changes, but looking forward to seeing what Disney will do with it all the same.
We fly home Sep 19th... I will be poised and checking for soft openings! Kitty x |

I look forward to seeing what they do with this. Unfortuantely for it to be refurbished, they have to close it. Disney is open 365 days a year, so somewhere at some point, they will have to shut a ride to refurbish it. I can't imagine it being much trouble for them as the crowd that would have been on the ride if it wasn't closed, will be distributed in other parts of the park.
