We're booked for May, flights sorted, condo on Anna Maria Island for 5 days then 12 days at WDW in Wilderness Lodge DVC.
Got AP's but they expire in Dec, will emend them in October and book park days then. I don't expect there to be an issue come May... |

Stuck in the Tower of Terror

Our last visit was November last year, I really feel for people who have had to cancel or are having to make a call on going later this year or early to mid next year.
I just can't see things calming down either side of the Atlantic any time soon to where we would feel confident about booking & or getting on a plane for 9 hours. As much as we love WDW we just wouldn't consider it right now, I'm not saying people are wrong for booking, they are free to do what they feel is right & if they feel confident & safe booking & going over then who am I to criticise them?

Im booked for May, although we don't get our park tickets until around Black Friday/Xmas time to save some money. Im slighty concerned at the moment. I don't want to book park days and stuff, I want some freedom to my trip. Plus isn't park hopping out of the window then too ?
Fingers crossed in a few months everything will be back to normal. Its been about 3 months since lockdown and things got serious, so look how much can happen in 3 months. Hopefully in the next 3 months it will all be gone |

We would not get on a plane at the minute if the holiday was free. For me they seem like the perfect breeding ground for Covid. One person With Covid on a flight has the potential to infect a lot of people. Just our opinion so all those going have an amazing time.

We're going on the first of May.. Absolutely confident it will be normal by then and fully expect park hopper to be back and reservations to be scrapped... Disney clearly feel they may be back to normal by Xmas by not cancelling the Christmas party like they did with Halloween... And as others have said if we are not back to normal by then, then a trip to disney world will be the very least of our worries.. The world has closed down and is opening up in the last 4-5 months... Considering May is 10 months away I'm pretty confident it will be fine..
Not saying corona will be gone but it will be managed with restrictions at a local level with test and trace fully underway... Something we didn't have during previous pandemics. |

I get the worry but most planes have clean air pumped in the very 3 minutes and considering you need to be in close contact for around 10-15 minutes to have a high chance of infection.. Yes obviously people touch things but masks and hand sanitizer should be fine to protect against that. I also think no food or drink service would be good and people should have to buy their own befor the flight. |

We've been told that we will be wearing masks at work for at least the next 6 months (nurse on a children's mental health eating disorders ward). Though the UK seems to be opening up our restrictions are getting tighter due to the risk that opening up puts us in, ie the children are only allowed to have one designated visitor to the ward - most haven't seen their dads in months as parents cannot take turns.
I was previously really optimistic (because I really wanted to go to Florida next April) however I just cannot ignore what the cases in Florida tell us any longer - I believe once we open up like they have, and once Autumn arrives and we all retreat back inside, then Covid 19 will spread again and we will go back into lockdown. I guess it will be summer 2021 that it will begin to settle down. |

We've got a Disney cruise booked & a 2 week DVC stay at the Polynesian. Figured that we can move both reservations to later in the year if things aren't looking more promising by then.
We're not booking flights yet as we just want to keep an eye on how things go and don't want to commit ourselves just in case. Wearing masks is not an option so we won't go if those rules are still enforced.
