BA... will you still book?

Well the last couple of years ba seem to be cancelling flights all over the place.
They have totally upset loads of holiday makers this year and are still planning even more strikes.

Would you book your flights for your next holiday with them, or after all this mess, Would never consider booking with them?

What are your views?

My answer would be yes if the price was right.

This could happen with any airline, if the price is right i'd book with them again.

In the current climate of airlines going bust/financial issues, mergers & acquisitions etc if you avoid BA then you may find yourself short of options.

Of course, there’s many others on my list to avoid above BA, at least I’m sure they will still be here next summer.

To be honest I think they would be bottom of my list when it comes to looking for flights in future.

I know strikes are a risk with any airline and delays can happen too but on the whole our experience with virgin, jet 2 and easyjet have been a lot more positive.
We just returned yesterday and between delays, emails sent at midnight to say return flight was cancelled only to check at the airport 4hrs later and be told they were unaware and seats still being sold for that flight made what should have been an exciting time very stressful.
The plane we came back on was awful, food back was rank and we had 2 delays on flight from MCO and then LGW.

Not sure Jet2 or easyjet are comparable for long-haul flights to Florida?

Also, for the latter point, were any of the delays BA's fault? as anyone can be delayed...
