Book now or leave till later...

I’m looking at going in September 2021 for four adults to POFQ. I have a budget of 7.500.00. Is this doable... this is flying direct from LGW for 15 nights. I have all ready got a quote for the amount quoted but so worried as can’t get insurance yet. The company did say they would add free dining on if it was to come out at a later date. I’m just worried if I leave it I won’t be able to afford the holiday. Any advice or tips please. I can’t afford more than the above and I’m in a dilemma.

Until things calm down with Covid I would hold fire on booking any holiday.

I do understand about the corona virus but I’m trying to stay positive, especially for my sons mental health and want him to have something to look forward to.

I’m also really worried that the prices might suddenly shoot up and then we won’t be able to go...

If you do book it now and have to cancel it, for eg insurance reasons, will your son be more disappointed for the trip being booked then it having to be cancelled. Or will he be more disappointed it you don't book it and he has nothing to look forward to?

I'd hold off completely on booking as others have said, having to cancel would be a huge blow. Just let your son know you definitely plan to return, just don't add a date into the planning yet.

You can still work on a plan for the duration of your trip without specific dates.

It’s really hard, I’m not sure what my son would feel... I’m suppose I’m worried as I’m hearing flight prices will shoot up and then we definitely won’t be able to go.

That's just speculation though, no one actually knows. Some people are glass half empty, some are glass half full.

I suppose that’s true, I just hope the flights don’t soar up. I think I’m edging on not booking, but it’s always nice to get advice and opinions.
