Mobile Disney. Split stay guests plus my reservation experience

I guess we are not the only ones doing a split stay?
We are staying onsite for 12 nights. Then moving to a villa.
I have literally spent hours, like 5 hours trying to do the park reservations. I got thrown out half way through 😫😫
So I finally managed to book all 12 days.
It obviously would not let me book anymore dates other than the 12 we are staying onsite.
So I need to go through the whole rigmarole again on the 28th !

There was no water parks at all (we are going July 2021)
Hollywood studios only had times from 10am
Epcot was from 11am
This is a pity as we like to get there for opening/early

You’ve not missed out on early slots for Hollywood studios and Epcot. Park schedule shows HS opening at 10 and Epcot 11 each day. That may change in time but for now they are not opening early

Ah, I though I had missed out. I wonder why they are opening so late?

I am really not looking forward to going through all this again on the 28th
Thats if disney honour our 21 day tickets

I had the exact same experience, I actually cried in frustration.
This whole thing might be pointless because if Disney don’t honour our 21 day ticket we are cancelling our booking. MDE is showing 14 days.

What’s your plan if Disney don’t honour it?

I honestly don’t know. We can not rush the parks, we can only do half days, usually mornings.
We just wont get everything done in 14 days. With a ten year difference in our children we need to cater for all ages, plus my sons autism and my daughters diabetes 🙈
I have said that I will purchase extra 14 day tickets. My husband is not impressed with that solution though.

I really do not understand why disney are not honouring the 21 day tickets.
It’s unfair

Our daughter is autistic so we also need to go early whilst it’s quieter, go ‘home’ then return to a park later if moods permit. Its why we do three weeks. Not having Disney final week will not go down well at all. Routine is Disney final week. We especially booked our villa in a resort closer to the Disney parks, I thought about universal the final week but it’s a longer drive which my husband will hate. He says just cancel, Disney are money grabbing etc etc I’m starting to agree with him.
We could nt afford to buy an extra seven days pass.

I agree, we booked this April 2019.
I asked a cm on live chat and she would nt or could nt say why the change and just that’s their policy, she said we might be in luck as next August is so far out and to keep An eye open for updates. It was so vague.

It’s still a very long time away. I know you were worried about getting slots yesterday But you’re guaranteed 12 days in the park So that’s great news. By the time you go, I’m sure there will be longer opening hours, and the water parks will be open. I can see why the water parks will be more challenging - obvious hygiene issues, plus making sure proper chlorination and no bugs in the system if it’s been dormant for a while.
