Plant Advice

I have just bought 10 little flower pots that hang off my garden fence. They are about 3 inches wide by about 4inches deep. I would like to get some dwarf trailing plants to put in them but I dont have a clue. Am I too late for this year? if so what seeds should I get for next year?

TIA

There may be some around - I normally pick trailing lobelia , bidens , ,petunias as summer plants . One of my favourites that can last for few years is Erigeron karvinskianus- nice little daisy plants .
Edited to add I also like creeping Jenny - not for flowers but it’s a lovely lime green trailing plant - mine has lasted a couple of years now

They sound really nice. Any photos? Where did you get them from?

I have just seen little multicoloured pots on amazon (sorry, I am stealing your idea lol) one review said they put Bush Fuchsia in theirs and they looked amazing.
I thought Bush Fuchsia were big? But they do have multipacks on amazon really cheap.
I really love the idea of these.

Nasturtium make really good trailing plants. Plus you get plenty of seeds for the following year.

I’ve got trailing lobelia in mine, just make sure to drill holes in the bottom if they don’t already have them

I got mine from poundstretcher, lots of different bright colours £1.29 each but I noticed they now have larger ones which I think were £2.49

Yes from Amazon. Arrived today and we drilled a few holes in the bottom. Quick and painless. Worked out at £1.89 each but I will look for the larger ones as well.
