I am planning on going next November and have been keeping my eye on prices for the last year and never really been over £350 - including luggage. Maybe October is a more expensive time of year?

Is this for the flight only ? I saw a post on here a couple of days ago from someone who had found a deal with Virgin through Ebookers for not much more for a package including the hotel. You may find a good deal with Expedia too if you include the hotel as a package.
I set a target of £300 for flights and booked at £293 but that was for February.
I found it was the accommodation in New York that was expensive.

This was me! Couldn't believe it was so cheap, so of course had to book it

Thank you, after getting told off by dd as she has to revise we are going to try for February half term instead, it gives me more time to look and you’ve given me an idea of price x
