Avis preferred first timer...

This is our first time using Avis ( via BA) - normally Alamo skip the counter which is a doddle!

Can anyone confirm what the deal is first time we use Avis as a preferred ?

Do we go to desk, kiosk in garage or straight to cars in garage?!

Make sure your BA & Avis bookings are linked.

Then go to the Preferred kiosk in the garage.

Check your paperwork carefully as they can be sneaky sometimes.

Your car is assigned and you will be given a row and bay number . If you don't like it you should be able to swap.

Make sure you get a zero receipt on return.

With it being our first time using avis too we’ve linked everything up on the preferred app and see our booking but will it show our designated car when we arrive and I switch my phone on as I believe you can scroll through available cars on your phone?

If you want to prepay the fuel make sure you add it on before you leave the exit barrier.

For the first visit your name won’t be on the board you need to go to the little kiosk, it’s very straight forward they will look at your licence and credit card then will print u off a sheet ( make sure there are no hidden charges) you can pre pay for fuel here too which is what we do. Then go to ur allocated bay and you car is there. You can swap it if your not happy , there is also a swap line but every time we’ve been there never seen anything that takes my fancy

Yes the uk Avis preferred, I did it in there website and my card arrived ahoetly after if I remember right, they also have an app
