Travelling Home Today
We fly with Virgin today (well Delta to Atlanta and then Virgin) and we are returning hire care to Alamo at MCO. Our flight is at 15.25. I have a few questions!
What time would people recommend leaving international drive area? Is the car return process easy? Do I check in at the Virgin desk as I have booked with them or go to Delta? Thanks in advance! |

Personally I would leave by 11am.I am guessing that the airport will be busy and it’s better to get there with plenty of time to spare than to be running through airport. There are lots of food choices airside but unfortunately not a lot of shops to keep you busy.
Car hire return is simple, just follow the sights for car hire return and pull into the Alamo lanes. There will be plenty of Alamo workers there who will come and scan your barcode for return. One tip is to make sure that you have everything in place before you pack the car up, it is a bit hectic when returning as you are in a continuously moving lane. There will also be porters there to help you with any luggage if needed (for a tip of course!) I am pretty sure you would go to the Delta desk, but there will be representatives around each desk to direct you otherwise. |

I’d agree. I like to be in the airport at least 3 hours before. And I’d give myself n hour to get there and return the car (although it won’t take that long ).
We’d then go for a meal once airside. We did outback last time we were at MCO. I liked that as i knew we were through all the checks and didn’t have any thing to worry about. It’s a Delta flight so you check in at the Delta desk |
