August 2021 or August 2022?

Hi,
We are due to staying at POFQ in August but who knows if that will happen or not Being the eternal pessimist (according to DH) I'm already thinking about what happens if we don't get to go this year.

If we have to rearrange, it would have to be for August 2021 or August 2022. Which would you be more inclined to go for? I keep going backwards and forwards between the two!

Thanks

If I can't go in September then I'll be going in September 2022. I was always going to do that though as I'm planning on going to Disneyland (California) and Aulani (Hawaii) next year. I decided that last year.

2022 sounds a safer bet in terms of everything being fully open and the possibility of a vaccine by then
I think 2022 is what we will be aiming for now

I’m in the same position - I know 2022 would be the most sensible choice, but it seems so far away!

We were planning to go July 2021 - now wife has serious doubts about that. Might need to leave it as late as possible to see if a vaccine materialises.

If not, then 2022 for us too

We are in a similar quandry. Due to fly Aug 15th this year, 2 weeks onsite with plenty of extras already paid for (MNSHHP, H2O Glow, Rose & Crown Fireworks meal) it was going to be our last Hurrah. We already have a big holiday booked for next year (Caribbean Cruise) and a week in Lanzarote booked for early August 21, so we really would be pushing it to do Disney as well... but I don't want to have to wait 2 years when we have already been planning this for nearly 2! Arghhhh. There are worse problems to have I know, but being stuck at home right now it is all I can think about 😂

We are hoping to go August 2021. We will pay deposit for Disney and book a BA package so only need to pay deposits. If things still aren’t right ( although if they aren’t we will have more to worry about than holidays) we can put it off another year and just lose deposits.

Another vote for 2022. It will never be back to normality before August 2021.

Going in August 2021. I'd be very surprised if it's not back to normal by then.
