Yeah the article mentions BA were contemplating it (I actually thought that was always a done deal).

Going on Norwegian being an unknown quantity that leaves potentially just Tui flying from Gatwick to Orlando?

BA may see how demand is before making a decision. If demand is there, they may try to take over some of VA's slots?

Personally I can see both airlines picking up their slots once demand returns..

We can only wait and see.

Reports in the press suggest they will leave Gatwick full stop. Everything out of LHR an Manchester.

Another Gatwick nail

With the news of Virgin pulling out of Gatwick this is yet another nail in the coffin for the people living and working around here.
This area is looking at over 50% redundancy of all working people me included about the only upside is the chance that housing prices might drop from the highs they have been.
