I feel its sad that Universal is so expensive for fast passes etc... It kind of makes or breaks your day in terms of fun overall, but boy do you pay for it! Good idea to get three meals and share - we always found the portions so huge! Cant wait to try that pink donut, and a cinnabon! mmmm nom nom...

The chicks and rabbit are from hop. We do universal without express but never summer hols. With the hulk opening and new King Kong the parks are v busy. Hope your visit with express passes is much better.

It really makes you appreciate it!
I agree, Universal without express pass was a nightmare. Much easier to do with an overnight stay. Tree meals seemed to work well for us and I hate waste so would have ended up eating any leftovers The Big Pink and the Cinnabon will be worth the wait! Hop?!? I'm still none the wiser I'll have to google them Our visit with Express Passes was much easier and we done everything we wanted. I think they let far to many EP people on and leave the standby too long. |

Yak and Yeti
This was hands down my favorite meal of the trip. I had the Landrys card but I had also made an ADR. We were seated straight away and ordered our drinks, the kids got Sprites, Nigel got a Everest Refresher it tasted mostly of Pear and he liked it... My Yak Attack was so good, I did get brain freeze though For mains the kids got chicken tenders and cheeseburger and a mountain of fries. Nigel got the Kobe burger and said it was lovely and I had the honey chicken with stir fried veg and chicken fried rice. I wish I could have this every week, it was so good, nice and crispy and not at all greasy! The boys loved these, The boys and I decided we had some room left for pudding so they ordered an icecream sundae and I got the fried wontons, Nigel didn't want any! The bills a little strange as they seem to take a % off each item to minus of the $25 birthday and the $25 welcome reward. The total bill came to $47.71 + tax= $65. Dennys We had wanted to go to IHop but it was packed and I mean packed as my Ole boy would say, "You couldn't turn a Brandy Ball in your mouth"! We ventured on down the road to Dennys. This pleased Nigel who is a huge Breaking Bad fan and Walt has his birthday Breakfast in here Anyway there was room enough to turn a Brandy Ball so in we went! It was nice enough but no were near Ihop quality. We had a lovely server and heres what we got... The balloon man was also doing the rounds so Liam got a Dino, we tipped him $5 After a few hours in the parks we called at Bahama Breeze for Dinner on the way home. We were told it was a 20min wait or we could be seated straight away out on the patio. We choose to eat outside, which I wish we hadn't as there were loads of flies and I missed the aircon We all ordered cokes and Joseph and Liam had their usuals and me and Nigel had the Buttermilk chicken. Nigel asked for his without cheese and he had to wait a little bit for his. The manager came out and explained that they come prepacked in portions so his had to be made from scratch. It was nice of him to come and explain. We enjoyed the live music and the food was really yummy. It cost $52.24 +tip=$63 Back home we all had some of this |

Didn't know you could use Landrys card in Yak & Yeti - have just ordered one thanks! Looks very yummy.
Bahama Breeze is my favourite place to eat - food just had more taste than other places. I loved the beef chipotle and key lime pie. Will make note about Dennys to my boys, they loved Breaking Bad too!
