Still good prices today to Fort Myers but my husband is scared of flying and 3 flights there and 3 back is too many for him - would require too much diazepam! Even the suggestion of it last night brought him out in a cold sweat! 2 legs max for us unfortunately.

I'm über excited! Just booked flights with United (on their website) 7/8/14 - 31/8/14 from LHR -IAD- MCO & TPA - IAH - LHR for £564.21 each. Not quite what I paid last year but I am delighted to say the least.

Good connection times, I played around and the best times were into MCO and out of Tampa for us. It'll be an early start as the flight leaves as 07:30 but we get to Orlando at 14:41.

I really hope this helps someone else get flights at a reasonable price this year!

One way

Does anyone have any recommendations on finding a one way flight from Florida to the UK? I probably being extremely unrealistic but ideally dont want to pay much more than £200 each. Norwegian is coming in around that price however completely wrong dates grrr

That is a great price! Really happy for you, and my kids don't go back the 8th so getting very tempted by some of the prices on that site Thanks for posting.

The best was is to collect Avios points with Tesco and CC churning. Or if you have VA miles you can book one ways with them, if there is availability.

I just had Kayak alerts for most dates in August into Miami if that helps anyone around £550 mark.

Don't forget about the possible free dining too for those who haven't booked accommodation. http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=788079

Give him his meds. Some of the flights by the time you are up it's time to come down. Poor thing.

I've just booked 29july for £580 per person Manchester-Chicago-Jacksonville. Slightly more than I wanted to pay but still a good deal. Now to crack on with the planning 😄

Flipping eck - had already decided we weren't going this year due to flight prices then I saw a couple if posts mentioning Fort Meyers and Jacksonville which if checked previously and were also too high. Jacksonville flight prices are within an acceptable level to consider it.

Time to get the spreadsheet out lol
