Present ideas for my very hard to buy for mum?

That’s a lovely thoughtful gift. I treated myself to an olive tree reduced in a supermarket earlier this year. DD scoffed at me buying a dead tree and I feared she was right when all the leaves dropped off, every one of them! Imagine how happy I was a few weeks later when buds started to appear 😀 It grew beautifully all summer and I hope it will for years to come

We put our two in the greenhouse for the winter. They are growing every year so not sure how much longer this will be possible.

I have a small one in a pot in the garden. It stays out all year. It's around five years old. Last year we had mini olives for the first time. But the birds got to them first.

Haven't whitewashed the trunk yet though 😂
